Two Topics:
The number of IL slots is not enough. Every season I find my 5 IL spots maxed out and I have another 3-4 players on contracts who are injured and not earning points but I can't really drop them and have no IL slot to put them. Unlike some owners I didn't draft injured players in the offseason.
Which leads to the second topic...should players who are won at auction and injured count against the cap? I always had enough $$ to cover any players that would come off the IL...others perhaps not. But it does seem to give teams with healthy players an advantage to use their IL to win injured players at no cost, whereas an owner with 5 injured players is stuck.

I am completely in favor of increasing IL slots. Everyone should be able to maintain a full roster of active players (or get close)
BUT - I’d only support it if all salaries count against the cap at all times. I hate the current rule. Guys on IL need to count against the cap. Then make it like 10-15 slots.
If we don’t adjust the cap rules for IL players, more owners are gonna stash guys there and it could get crazy. The 5 player limit is the only downside to the stash strategy right now.

I tend to agree that if we increase the IL slots then something needs to change with the salary counting. What about salaries count at 50%? I'm the seemingly likely case where a team has several injuries, it is likely that they run up against salary cap restrictions... Altho since we sign free agents at $500k maybe it's not that big of a deal...

Is it possible to distinguish between 60 day IL and others on Fantrax? I could see not counting 60d day IL player salaries.
