Please create a new thread any time that you promote one or more players that are assigned a 'Min' contract. This action is to be done as soon as possible, but must be done within 72 hours of the promotion. A promoted player may be assigned a contract of any length from 1-5 years, with year one being the year in which the contract starts, regardless of the time in the season when the promotion occurs (2024 would be year 1 at this time). If a thread is not made within 72 hours of promotion, the player will be assigned a 5 year contract.
NOTE: Any such player can be returned to the minor leagues at a later date if the player remains under the rookie threshold (just like any other contracted player - ones with a year for an end date), but must be promoted for good within 3 days of surpasses the rookie threshold.
